The Friends of King’s

Community Tea

Sunday 3 December 2023

The Community Tea is an important and long-established event in the life of King’s. Around 200 elderly and infirm people from the Wimbledon area attend an afternoon tea at school with carols and Christmas music. For many guests, it is their only such excursion of the year and is something to which they very much look forward.

This year, the Tea takes place on Sunday 3rd December 2-4pm. The event couldn’t take place without the fantastic support from the KCS parent body, and we would welcome your support in the following ways:

By contributing food for the tea or take-home presents (eg tins of biscuits) for our guests

By coming along to lay out, serve food or chat with our guests on the day

By providing transport for our guests to and from their homes

Arrangements for the Tea are being co-ordinated by the Friends of King’s on behalf of the school. If you are able to help in any of the above ways, please complete the SignUpGenius process by 17th November 2023

If you have any questions at this stage, please get in touch with us.
